Handling & Preparation

    TO GRILL:
    1. Place desired number of skewers on medium to hot grill, depending on how much crispness is desired. 
    2. Grill approximately 1-2 minutes on each side, or until shrimp turns pink and is just about done. (Shrimp will continue to cook in its on juices off the grill.) Cooking time will also vary depending on type of grill used: flat, coals or rocks, fruit wood, gas or electric and if previously marinated. Experiment for best results and post instruction for others. 
    TO BAKE OR ROAST:
    1. Preheat oven to 450o F. 
    2. Place desired number of skewers on rack, in roasting pan or baking sheet and roast for approximately 2 minutes. Turn and cook additional 1-2 minutes or until shrimp turns pink and is just about done. (Shrimp will continue to cook in its on juices off the grill.) Cooking time will also vary if previously marinated and multiple portions are cooked together. 
    TO BROIL:
    1. Place desired number of skewers on broiling rack or baking sheet 
    2. Broil 1"-2" below heat element for approximately 1-2 minutes on each side or until just done. 
    3. Experiment for best results and post instruction for others. 
    SERVING SUGGESTIONS: 
    1. As an Excellent appetizer or starter. Prefect for table side preparation with a little fanfare! 
    2. As a main course, dinner or lunch. Serve over rice, noodles or cooked leafy greens. Serve dipping sauce on side. 
    3. Sprinkle with grated cheese and crispy breadcrumbs. 
    4. Perfect for banquets, cocktail parties or catered functions 
    5. Try at pool side parties for convention groups. 
    6. A natural when roasted or grilled for Chaines des Rotisseurs events.
